I Care If You Listen is a blog about contemporary classical music (some people also say New Music), design, architecture, technology, and the idea of Craftsmanship. It is curated by Thomas Deneuville, a French-born composer living in New York City, with the help of wonderful contributors in the US and the UK.

You don’t undersrad how much I adore this piece. “Two harp solo pieces with introduction” by Aranyi-Aschner. It was composed in 2009 and noone else has ever performed it. I’ve had it in my repertoire for 2 years now and I feel I know it so well by now, every note, every phrase, and every rest, that’s it’s sort of become my own now. A lot of people don’t really care much for contemporary music, but this piece has been my key to it.
